Langfitt and Associates, Inc. is owned and operated by Porter Langfitt and Elena Cheney, who are also brother and sister. Their father, Pete Langfitt, formed the company more than 30 years ago, and his children have carried on the tradition of building custom and semi-custom homes throughout Williamson and Davidson County.

Porter oversees daily construction operations, sub-contractor management, and schedule coordination. Elena oversees the company's administrative responsibilities as well as assisting clients with material and interior design selections. Both Porter and Elena have their contractor's license in the State of Tennessee, and Elena is a licensed residential Realtor with Pilkerton. 

Langfitt and Associates has built homes in some of Middle Tennessee's most successful communities including Westhaven, LaurelBrooke, Downtown Franklin, 12-South, Brentwood and Green Hills. Their work entails remodeling, custom design, and limited speculative building. 

Recently Langfitt and Associates wrapped-up a beautiful pocket development at the corner of 24th Avenue and Fairfax — a highly desired location in West Nashville. Prior to this project's completion, the company was actively engaged with infill projects in the 12-South neighborhood. Post recession, Langfitt actively grew the company's remodeling portfolio while the new construction market regained its momentum.
